From my time in the Hat business I've known that the American Dollar is the currency in Ecuador. What I remember most is that the life span of a dollar bill there is so long that the term "dirty money" takes on a whole new literal meaning. Very gross! In fact, I guess the only thing more omnipresent than greenbacks is the world's fixation on "boobies". I must confess that I'm not losing sleep over this. What a great visit to the G Islands!
