Thanks for this post. I always find it really interesting to hear the perspective of travellers on my home town.

I recently had two north american visitors and it was really interesting to rediscover my own city through their eyes.

I even wrote a <a href="http://footprintsofabackpacker.com/blog/travelling-in-reverse-playing-tour-guide/" rel="nofollow">Post</a> about it...

hey lisa! i started a word press blog! and i totally stole your template! i thought it was the best one anyway :))

i have a really stupid question. actually 2. first, is it ok if i put a link to your blog on mine?

second, how did you get the text on the header to change? mine is stuck on green, and i looked all over the site but couldn't figure it out. if you could tell me how you changed yours, that would be awesome.

thanks and have fun in the UK!

cheers, reb

Northern Illinois Shriveled up and whiter than Casper's ass Says:

I have not ever been to London, nor have I contracted the Swedish flu. You get to have all the fun. I have heard the "compactness" of London makes it a city where you can accomplish a lot of sight seeing in a short time. Had I known you would be there at this time, I would have rung my friends Liz and Phil to have you over for a spot of tea with Chuck, Cammy, Andy et al. Oh well. The pictures tell a beautiful story. I now know the propaganda about the London Bridge falling down that was drummed into every American child was a varnished untruth. Speaking in your native tongue for the holidays seems like a good thing to be doing. You have fascinated the world during this trip.
