I love living in a city that can make me feel like I’m traveling. Chicago is a concentrated microcosm of America — that veritable stew of people from all over the world, bringing their culture and fabulous flavors to our city. I’ve learned so much from traveling, but also right here in my own backyard and am fortunate to live in a place where I can meet and intersect with new people and try new, flavorful foods.
I recently wrote a piece for the Scandinavian Traveler Magazine (SAS Airlines) on three of my favorite ethnic neighborhoods in Chicago. Here are some of my photos from these vibrant areas.

Chicago is so great! Hope I could visit there again this year.
This year is the Canada 150. On Canada Day, the Canadian Consulate in Chicago will host a celebration event. Maybe you can find chocolates there from the Prince Edward Island, the found place of Canada and the home of Anne of Green Gables.
Thanks William! Happy B-day to Canada!
Awesome to see you got published in an airline magazine … well done!
Thanks Franks! I’ve been writing for American Airlines mostly for a few years now, but this was my first piece in SAS!
