I heard from so many that Lisbon was one of the best cities in Europe. It has personality, culture, history and is friendly and fairly cheap. Plus was a great place to just wander around and get Lisbon photos. The largest city in Portugal, Lisbon is the westernmost capital in Europe and lies on the Atlantic coast. It is also considered the oldest city in Europe after Athens, predating London, Paris, and Rome by hundreds of years. It has a Mediterranean climate and is also attractive to visitors because of its relatively warm winter climate.

Lisbon was the launch pad for many a explorer like Vasca da Gama and Magellan. Built on a series of scenic hills, this romantic city is full of atmospheric neighborhoods and my biggest recommendation is to take up your own explorations and stroll around as much as you can. hi
