Holy crap! Does time ever slow down? It seems like each year goes faster than the last. Whose cruel joke is this? 2014 was another up and down year for me (isn’t it always?) — some great travels, some lows in between, and more new friends for which to be thankful.
Once again, I’ve failed to really “travel less” as I’ve said I would the last two years now.
Besides splitting my time between Chicago and New Jersey, this year, I traveled to:
- Jasper, Alberta Canada
- Puerto Vallarta, Mexico
- Gulf Shores, Alabama
- New York City
- Bloomington, Indiana
- Cape Cod, Massachusetts
- Bucks County, Pennsylvania
- Cleveland, Ohio
- Put-in-Bay, Ohio
- Germany & Switzerland (posts coming in 2015)
- Milwaukee (posts coming in 2015)
- Tanzania, Africa (posts coming in 2015)

I had the opposite experience in 2014 and did not travel as much as I wanted to. Hoping that will change in 2015. Happy new year to you too.
There’s some really yummy looking food in there! I’m also jealous of your last picture as I didn’t get around to going to Zanzibar when I was in Tanzania and have regretted it ever since!
